v1.0 · 14-day trial · Lifetime license · Optional cloud AI

Your database workspace — design, manage, test, monitor & report

Synrows is a local-first database workspace. Design ER diagrams, manage connection groups, seed realistic datasets for dev and QA, monitor with guarded SQL views, and publish printable reports — with Faker, local LLM, BYOK, or optional Synrows Cloud AI.

Synrows desktop app showing Seed workspace with database connections, generation rules, and AI assistant

Three workspace modes

One app for schema exploration, data generation, and analytics — not just seeding.

Explorer

Connection groups, health badges, schema drift detection, ER diagrams, guarded SQL browse, CSV import, and live data inspection.

Seed

Seed tasks with versioned rules, Faker heuristics, local LLM or cloud AI column rules, preview-before-apply, and cache mode.

Analyze

Monitor views (table, metric, chart, list), printable report layouts, SQL guardrails, and AI-assisted metrics and narrative blocks.

15+ database adapters

SQLite, Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, CockroachDB, Turso, MongoDB, Supabase, D1, SQL Server, Oracle, Db2, and read-only warehouses.

Connection lifecycle

Lazy connect with pooling, per-connection query scheduling, health pings, and read-only enforcement for warehouse adapters.

AI your way

Synrows Cloud AI, bring-your-own-key (OpenAI/Anthropic), or fully offline local LLM via Hugging Face — your data stays local by default.

How it works

From empty project to explored, seeded, and reported database in minutes.

  1. Create a project, organize connections into groups, and test health from the sidebar
  2. Import or introspect schema — SQL paste, files, live connection, or ER diagram design
  3. Define seed rules with Faker, cloud AI, BYOK, or a local LLM — preview before apply
  4. Generate data, browse results in Explorer, monitor with SQL views, and export reports in Analyze

Common questions

Is Synrows only for generating test data?

No. Synrows is a full database workspace: design schemas and manage connections in Explore, seed datasets for dev and QA in Seed, and monitor plus report in Analyze. Data generation is one capability—not the whole product.

Do I need Node.js installed?

No. Packaged builds include a bundled Node sidecar for the local server.

Which databases are supported?

SQLite, Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, CockroachDB, Turso, MongoDB, Supabase, Cloudflare D1, SQL Server, Oracle, Db2, and read-only warehouse adapters (Redshift, Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery).

Can I use Synrows completely offline?

Yes. Explorer, Seed with Faker, and local LLM generation work offline. Cloud AI, device registration, and BYOK require network access.

How does local LLM generation work?

Download a model from the in-app catalog (powered by Hugging Face Transformers). Generation runs on your machine — no data leaves your device unless you opt into cloud AI.

What happens after my 14-day trial?

Without a lifetime license, Synrows continues with SQLite and demo adapters for new connections. Existing connections become read-only for browsing. Export always works. Purchase a lifetime license to restore full access.

Can I keep using Synrows for free?

After trial, yes — with limits. SQLite and demo adapters only for new connections; other databases are read-only browse. Local LLM and BYOK still work. Hosted Synrows Cloud AI requires Cloud Pro.

Do I need Cloud Pro?

No. Cloud Pro is optional hosted AI. Lifetime includes Faker, local LLM, and BYOK. Cloud Pro adds a higher daily quota for Synrows Cloud AI without managing API keys.

How does lifetime licensing work?

One-time purchase activates on up to 2 devices. Includes 1 year of updates. Enter your license key in Synrows → Settings → License after checkout.

Does cloud AI require an account?

Synrows Cloud registers your desktop device automatically on first use. Trial and Cloud Pro include hosted AI quotas. You can also use BYOK or revoke cloud access anytime.

What is your refund policy?

The 14-day product trial is free — not a charge. Paid purchases (lifetime or first Cloud Pro payment) include a 14-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy.

How do I cancel Cloud Pro?

Cancel anytime from the Paddle customer portal linked in your receipt email, or contact [email protected]. Cancellation stops future charges at the end of the current billing period.

Do warehouse databases support writes?

Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Azure Synapse adapters are read-only in Synrows — ideal for monitoring and reporting. Writable adapters can also be marked read-only per connection.

What about Oracle and Db2?

Oracle and IBM Db2 are supported but require native client libraries (Instant Client / CLIDriver) installed on your machine. They are not bundled with the Synrows installer.

How do updates work?

The desktop app checks updates.synrows.app for signed releases and can auto-update from the in-app updater. Download links on this page always point to the latest stable build.
